Seaview is seeking an experienced, strategic, and financially sophisticated COO to serve as the key executor of and thought partner to the CEO's strategic vision. • Manage all day-to-day operations, ensuring cohesion between creative, strategic, and financial priorities.
• Serve as the CEO's internal operating and strategic partner - collaborating to prioritize big ideas, work through problems and analyze industry trends, and translate Seaview's vision into actionable, measurable outcomes, including new opportunities and verticals that expand the company's reach and enterprise value.
• In collaboration with the CEO, serve as the primary liaison between the company and its Board of Directors, including regularly reporting up to and interfacing with the Board on financial health, key initiatives, and general company updates.
• Formalize and maintain organizational structure - overseeing roles, decision‑making authority, and reporting lines - while serving as an accessible, trusted presence for all staff.
• Own the company's internal meeting cadence and collaborative tools, ensuring company priorities and context are clearly and consistently communicated across departments; attend departmental meetings with the CEO and department heads as needed.
• Ensure decisions and commitments translate into clear ownership, deadlines, and follow‑through across the organization.
• Manage external operational partners, including legal counsel, finance and business management support, and human resources vendors.
• Build and sustain a vibrant, collaborative company culture grounded in creativity, curiosity, and high performance.

• Own a current, complete view of Seaview's financial position across company decision‑making and project realities, advising the CEO and department heads on key financial issues, including project‑level decisions
• Develop and maintain the company's core budgeting documents.
• Revenue Management: project‑by‑project revenue modeling across theatrical, film, TV, and general management, in coordination with department heads; maintain a rolling 12–24 month revenue outlook synthesizing actuals with forward projections
• P&L Management: maintain and revise the annual operating budget monthly, tracking variance against prior projections and monitoring balance‑sheet spend sent to production entities
• Cash Flow: maintain a rolling 12+ month cash position projection and proactively communicate funding needs and timing to the CEO, department heads, and business management
• Conduct a monthly review of the general ledger, P&L, and balance sheet; and proactively flag revenue or spending areas requiring CEO attention.
• Own Seaview's production investments portfolio, including paperwork and tracking systems.
