Buying Manager, Luxury

Maximize sales and profitability through strategic product selection, assortment execution, and in-season performance management. Develop product strategies that support financial plans, customer experience, and brand direction while partnering with cross-functional and regional teams.

• Formulate and execute merchandise selection, procurement, and promotion, including quarterly Milan travel to assort the line.
• Develop product and assortment strategies using customer knowledge, marketplace trends, and current and historical business analysis.
• Partner with planning, brand, image, and regional teams to improve profitability, productivity, and customer experience.
• Assess business growth and risk opportunities, present recommendations, and visit stores and competitors to identify market trends.
• Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, manage performance and priorities, and support succession planning.

• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities, influence cross-functional partners, and build effective working relationships.
• Knowledge of the customer, marketplace, product lifecycle, and business analysis at the style and color level.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills; able to motivate, negotiate, and influence across departments.
• Ability to travel internationally quarterly and make frequent store visits; knowledge of tailored clothing is a plus.
