2nd shift: 2:30 pm – 11:30 pm, Monday through Friday, and one weekend per month.
Must be available to train on 1st shift for 90 days: 6:30 am – 3:30 pm daily, and work one weekend per month.
Production Supervisor Duties- Lead by example in professional behavior and personal accountability.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Coordinate with other areas to meet production goals.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained.
- Provide accurate, timely performance administrative information.
- Meet long‑ and short‑range production plans.
- Ensure materials and supplies are available when needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and enforce 5S principles.
- Assign and execute daily and weekly production schedules.
- Re‑enforce adherence to standards (QCPs, policies and procedures) through coaching and routine follow‑up.
- Ensure staff receives adequate training for the operations assigned.
- Complete corrective actions to improve the area.
- Communicate with employees regarding performance and help them achieve expectations.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Provide accurate performance feedback to management.
- Score favorably in compliance audits of MOS Overall Utilization Assessment.
- Ensure compliance with Company IPM/QPM and ISO quality requirements.
- Resolve performance/disciplinary issues in coordination with Human Resources.
- Follow MOS Principles supplied by management.
- Interact with customers as needed.
- Document travelers after operations are performed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Problem‑solving and organizational skills.
- Practical knowledge of aircraft components, machining, welding, inspection and related disciplines.
- Self‑motivated with high ownership and accountability.
- Six Sigma Greenbelt/Blackbelt preferred.
- Team‑building skills.
- Position must obtain a Repairman Certificate within 2–4 months of employment or possess an A&P license to supervise maintenance activity.
- Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Four (4) years of experience and/or training, or equivalent education/experience combination.
