Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audio Visual Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV systems support, live event production, and conference room technology management. This role requires hands-on experience with platforms such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex, Google Meet, and AV hardware including Cisco, Crestron, and Poly systems.

This role is designated as office essential and will be in office 5 days per week in our New York office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide real-time AV supporting executive-level meetings and live events that run into issues to get them resolved fast-track
• Manage and maintain AV systems across multiple sites and conference rooms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to AV equipment and software at the 4.0 level
• Operate production equipment including robotic cameras and digital mixers, wireless Mic systems, switchers, lighting

• Design and implement AV setups for live streaming and hybrid events.
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to ensure high-quality communication experiences.
• Manage inventory for event execution.
• Execute AV room decommissioning and rebuilds within budget and timelines.
• Help train the AV-Desktop support team on level 1-2.5 of supporting the user community

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AV engineering roles across corporate and event environments.
• Proficiency with AV platforms and systems:
  Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Webex, Crestron, Cisco, Poly.
• Experience with live event production and streaming technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• High Level of Experience with Cisco collaboration devices (Cisco Room Series, Board Series, Desk Series)
• High Level of Experience with Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) deployment and management
• Experience of cloud registration processes and device provisioning
• Experience with Cisco Control Hub and Microsoft Teams Admin Center

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in A/V Production or related field.
• Experience in supervisory roles and managing AV installations.
• Familiarity with broadcast environments , live streaming, and setup and support for live events both onsite and offsite
• Industry Certifications (CTS) Cisco AV related (Control Hub) and (Cisco CCNA)
• Microsoft 365 certified collaboration communications systems engineer associate

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
