Positionsummary
We are looking for an RTW Production Associate with experience in managing Woven’s and Knitwear Production to support our Production team in New York. This role will ensure timely delivery, consistency, and quality of our garments from industrialization through to production and delivery. This role will focus heavily on ensuring production quality and deliveries, production fittings, and adherence to the design intent.
We're looking for someone with at least 2-4 years of production experience, who has a can‑do and hands‑on approach, who is comfortable with systems (ERP is RLM) and can help us implement a more robust and consistent production pipeline both domestically (NY midtown) and overseas.
Key responsibilities- Support production for domestic and international RTW, by co‑managing a group of 6-8 production vendors.
- Participate in and document production fittings, identifyingtechnical issues and proposing viable solutions for fit, construction, and production consistency.
- Contribute, in conjunction with the Director of Production and TD and with the Raw Materials manager, to the timely deliveries for RTW globally.
- Support the creation and maintenance of production‑ready measurements, revised grading pitches and detailed construction notes.
- Collaborate with the design, development, and factory teams to ensure feasibility of designs from a production standpoint.
- Work closely with factories (local and overseas) to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure clear communication of fit corrections and construction specs.
- Support the implementation of quality control standards, using accurate garment specs and measurement consistency as a foundation.
- Track sample comments, fit notes, and changes to ensure alignment between design/development and production.
- 2-4 years’ experience in production‑focused and fashion roles, ideally in a fast‑paced and/or multi‑category environment.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit standards, and production processes.
- Proficiency in PLM/ERP systems (e.g. RLM, Apparel Magic represents a strong plus).
- Comfortable participating in and co‑leading fit sessions with a production and quality mindset.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, especially when working with manufacturers.
- Ability to prioritize tasks across multiple seasons and styles with precision and clarity.
$80,000 to $90,000 depending on the candidate’s experience and on how the JD/Title will be finalized.
