Electronics Technician, Electronics Assembler, Assembly, Manufacturing Engineer
Are you a precision-driven technician who thrives on quality and detail? We are looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our production team. In this role, you won't just be "building parts"—you will be assembling critical hardware that protects service members and ensures national security. From advanced radar arrays to sophisticated guidance systems, your work will be held to the highest standard of excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Precision Assembly:
Read and interpret complex blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to build intricate electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. - High-Reliability Soldering:
Perform surface-mount (SMT) and through-hole soldering on PCBs following IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards. - Wiring & Harnessing:
Execute point-to-point wiring, cable routing, and connector terminations. Fabricate wire harnesses with exactness. - Mechanical Integration:
Use calibrated hand tools and torque drivers to secure components within ruggedized chassis. - Testing & Inspection:
Conduct continuity, resistance, and dielectric testing using multimeters and automated test equipment (ATE). - Compliance:
Maintain a strict ESD-safe and FOD-free (Foreign Object Debris) workstation. - Traceability:
Accurately document all work, serial numbers, and test results in our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to ensure 100% mission traceability.
- Experience:
2+ years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, preferably within the defense, aerospace, or medical device industries. - Certifications:
Current or prior certification in IPC-A-610 or J-STD-001 is highly preferred. - Technical Skill:
Proficiency with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and basic computerized inventory systems. - Mindset: A "quality-first" mentality with a sharp eye for detail and the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
