Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate
Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Associate, where you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods within a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of shipments, maintaining inventory, and supporting production operations.
Responsibilities- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory items following company protocols and procedures.
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure product accuracy and integrity.
- Operate shipping equipment and systems to safely transport and verify materials in the warehouse.
- Locate and gather products for distribution to production workers, assembly lines, or shipping areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking and updating inventory records.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production goals.
- Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting.
- Experience in material handling.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes.
- Understanding of warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of shipping systems.
- Understanding of safety standards and protocols in a warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 0‑6 months of experience in a similar role preferred.

Work EnvironmentWork in a warehouse building within a manufacturing company’s distribution center. This position is for the 3rd shift only, from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday, at the Orangeburg site. The facility spans 405 feet, providing ample space for operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, NY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
