This is an hourly position with Local 475.

Rate of pay is $32.31/hr

Hours are 7:00am - 3:00pm daily with weekends as needed

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to work from sketches, schematics, and simple prints with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to perform repair jobs such as changing oil in pumps and machine overhauls. Housekeeping and daily checks are necessary
• Must have working knowledge and experience in the following trades:
• Plumbing
• Heating, ventilation and air conditioning
• Electric power and controls
• Gas furnace operation, repair and control
• Carpentry and painting
• Dust Collection Systems
• Must have knowledge of welding and brazing.
• Must understand the principle of operations and repairs of heat treat equipment.
• Forklift experience preferred
• Must be comfortable operating a scissor lift

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing)
• Manufacturing experience preferred

MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
:

• Minimum lift floor to waist – 25 pounds
• Minimum lift waist to shoulder level – 25 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment in the production floor environment.
