Today, National Ramp is in search of a passionate and enthusiastic Manufacturing Supervisor who will bring their expertise to our team and help us grow to become the #1 Ramp Company in the World.
The Manufacturing Supervisor will lead the Manufacturing Operations Team, which includes Robot Welding, Manual Mig/Tig Welding, Custom Fabrication, CNC Milling, Saw Operations and General Assembly. The Supervisor will be the people leader for the Team, ensuring timesheets are entered correctly, assist in the hiring process and guide the training of all Team members. The Supervisor will be responsible for executing to the Production Schedule and ensuring manufacturing operations are safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility
- Ensuring manufacturing facilities are always orderly and clean
- Supervising operations within a facility to achieve high output
- Organizing, monitoring, and prioritizing tasks to meet production goals
- Evaluating various production stations to ensure optimum efficiency
- Maintaining communication between employees and senior management to ensure procedures and policies are well‑understood
- Work with Planning to develop schedule based on capacity and capability
- Ensuring accurate production reporting
- Ensuring accurate inventory by utilizing ERP system (receiving, shipping, reporting job orders)
- Monitor inventory by leveraging the ERP system and communicating with Procurement when resupply is needed
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment
- Assist in developing tools and fixtures to maximize safety and throughput
- Developing and organize training (i.e. SOP’s) and educational manuals for the production team – Creating and documenting standards.
- Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
- 5+ years of experience managing manufacturing operations
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing tools and equipment
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP systems, Epicor a plus.
- Excellent organization, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem‑solving skills, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to create and adhere to production processes
- Ability to write reports legibly and accurately

Location: Valley Cottage, NY (On‑Site), 7:00am-4:00pm
Salary: The salary range for this position, based in Valley Cottage, NY, is $100,000-$120,000 per year, plus bonus opportunity. The final salary will be based on the candidate's qualifications and experience.
