We are seeking an experienced CNC Integrex Machinist to join our high-tech manufacturing team in East Aurora, NY. This role involves operating and programming multi-tasking CNC equipment that combines turning center and machining center capabilities, allowing for single-setup part production to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and maintain exceptional accuracy.
Key Responsibilities- Program, set up, and operate Mazak Integrex or comparable Mill/Turn machines
- Interpret blueprints and written instructions to produce precision components
- Perform live tooling CNC lathe operations
- Machine aerospace components with close tolerances (< .0005”)
- Select, install, and troubleshoot tooling and fixtures
- Develop and document reliable machining processes
- Perform advanced inspections using micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, CMM, and other precision instruments
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Collaborate with team members to meet productivity and quality goals
- Experience with Mazak Integrex or comparable Mill/Turn machines
- Strong knowledge of G-Code and Mazatrol
- CNC programming and setup experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience working with plastics and various other materials
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to perform complex setups independently
- Tool selection, work holding, programming, and operation sequencing for new jobs
- Experience running CMM programs and setting up inspection processes
- Experience programming in G-Code, Mazatrol, or Mastercam
- Experience operating multi-axis CNC machines with complex offsets
- 10+ years of machining experience in close-tolerance environments (Aerospace preferred)
- CNC Machining training or certification
