We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Production Coordinator to join our growing team and support our production operations.
Position OverviewThe Assistant Production Coordinator will support the Production Department in ensuring timely, efficient, and quality-driven production of our children’s dress collections. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, tracking orders, monitoring timelines, and assisting with quality control. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in coordinating production schedules and timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with vendors, factories, and suppliers to track order progress.
- Maintain accurate records of production orders, samples, and approvals.
- Monitor fabric, trims, and raw material availability for upcoming collections.
- Assist with quality control inspections and ensure products meet company standards.
- Support the Production Manager with administrative tasks, reports, and updates.
- Help identify and resolve production issues or delays.
- Collaborate with design, merchandising, and logistics teams to streamline workflow.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 1–2 years of experience in production, sourcing, or apparel manufacturing (children’s apparel a plus).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of PLM/ERP systems is a plus.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
