Maintenance Supervisor

to join our 1st shift team at our Brooklyn, NY Asian foods facility
. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a skilled team and keep our operations running smoothly – whether it's planned, reactive, or corrective maintenance. If you’re passionate about driving reliability, leading people, and making a real impact on performance, we’d love to connect.

What You Will Do:
  • Ensure compliance with all human and food safety standards across maintenance teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Guide a maintenance team of up to 10 staff with tracking assigned PMs, managing scheduling requests, and being hands‑on as needed with legacy pizza equipment.
  • Supervise daily maintenance activities (reactive, corrective, planned, and condition‑based), aligning resources with production priorities.
  • Own maintenance metrics and participate in daily DMS meetings to drive accountability and performance.
  • Track and report weekly KPIs, including PM/CM completion, backlog, work order aging, MTTC, and breakdowns.
  • Coach teams on Defect Elimination to maintain equipment in basic condition.
  • Guide root cause analysis and cross‑functional problem‑solving to reduce breakdowns and reliability losses.
What We Look For:
  • Bilingual speaking in English AND either Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
    Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of maintenance experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge in plant maintenance, along with preferred knowledge in automation, electrical, and packaging machinery.
  • Food manufacturing or processing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, USDA, and sanitation standards.
  • Flexible to work any shift and respond to emergencies 24/7 as needed.
What We Offer:

The base salary range for this position is $66,375 to $110,625 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such,

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Years of Related

Experience:

3+ years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Must have knowledge and skills in the technologies of fasteners, lubrication, mechanical drive systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, fabrication, electrical power systems, electrical control systems, production/process, refrigeration, boilers, HVAC, and computerized maintenance management systems. Working knowledge of food plant production and processing equipment preferred. Knowledge of occupational hazards, safety, EPA regulations, USDA and sanitation standards preferred. Must have previous supervisor experience. Basic PC skills including expertise with MS Office and Outlook.

SAP experience beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have basic mathematical and problem‑solving skills to generate and maintain departmental reports. May be required to be clean shaven if trained in the use of and required to use a respirator. Must be capable and willing to work any shift and be on 24-hour call for emergency situations…
