Job OverviewOur team in the Military Aircraft Group is looking for an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician I to join them. The position is onsite in East Aurora, New York, with a 2nd‑shift work schedule.
Key Responsibilities- Perform precision assembly and test operations on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical valves, actuators, and systems.
- Use mechanical measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers, and micrometers to meet build requirements.
- Operate hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment, fixtures, and tools.
- Maintain dimensional accuracy on assemblies using torque wrenches, fixtures, tooling, and gauging.
- Interpret and follow assembly drawings, worksheets, parts lists, test specifications, and other instructions.
- Diagnose test failures and perform necessary rework so the unit passes test requirements.
- Clean components to required cleanliness levels.
- May work on repair units normally run with production units.
- Contribute positively to teamwork regarding productivity, initiative, cooperation, data collection, and attitude.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
- Basic arithmetic skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- At least one year of related experience in a technical field.
- Enrollment and participation in the company’s FAA Drug & Alcohol Program, as required by FAA regulations for Safety Sensitive Work.
- Competitive hourly base pay of $22.00–$27.00, with shift differential pay for 2nd‑shift employees.

Buffalo, NY – $22.00–$27.00 hourly. The base salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary based on location, experience, and performance. The listed range is one component of Moog’s total compensation package, which may also include bonuses, stock purchase plan participation, an open paid time off policy, and region‑specific benefits.
