Electronics Technician II

East Aurora, NY (Buffalo area).

Work Schedule:

Onsite – 2nd Shift.

• Work from assembly drawings, manufacturing outlines, worksheets, parts lists and other instructions.
• Maintain process certification per company specifications and ensure traceability of all hardware and materials.
• Operate and interpret test equipment for test and troubleshooting using basic knowledge of electricity and electronics, including power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, data acquisition systems, current and sensing probes.
• Use computer‑based test consoles, fusing probe, and bench terminal setups.
• Establish set‑ups for performance tests for assemblies, sub‑assemblies, and systems, including necessary fixtures, tooling, equipment, and temperature chambers as required.
• Work with Engineering to diagnose common test failures and recommend or perform rework to correct discrepancies while maintaining the unit’s integrity.
• When facing complex problems, use fault isolation, analysis, and definition of corrective rework, including necessary work‑arounds to maintain schedule commitments.
• Assemble special test set‑ups beyond standard design to aid engineering analysis of problem units.
• Work with computers and software, including Excel (complex functions), spreadsheets, and related applications.
• Document drawing or test nonconformances.
• Review build schedules with the Assembly Supervisor or Assembly Department Lead.
• Meet established time standards on work assignments.

• High School diploma or GED preferred; otherwise, demonstrate ability to understand and apply all verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English and perform basic arithmetic.
• At least 3 years of related electrical testing experience.
• Or associate’s degree or certificate in electronics technology or related field with 1 year of experience.
• Or bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Follow strict Federal Aviation Agency (F.A.A.) regulations regarding Safety Sensitive Work (S.S.W.) and participate in the company’s "F.A.A. Drug & Alcohol Program".
• Access to U.S. export‑controlled information is required.

Hourly: $30.00–$36.00. 10% shift differential for 2nd Shift.
