HPT Production Worker 2nd shift

Position: HPT*** Production Worker 2nd shift
Location: Orangeburg

Chromalloy New York, a leader in the repair and coating of gas turbine components for the aerospace industry and heavy industrial turbines, is currently seeking Production Workers for 2nd Shift.
Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:00pm

As a Production Worker, you will need to be able to work in a fast paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work, and adhere to safe work practices.
This is an hourly position with Local 475. Rate of pay is $21.56/hr with a 10% differential for 2nd shift.

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1st SHIFT MON- FRI 7:00am to 3:00pm

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
Crosstrain on operations within multiple areas
Regular attendance is an essential job function of this position
Perform their job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow the directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts

Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalent required
Must be fluent in English, (speaking, reading, writing)
Mechanical background preferred
Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Regularly:
Lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
Frequently:
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a typical office environment. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat. Exposure to the production facility includes loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
