Production Manager, Wholesale Apparel

• Manage production, negotiate critical dates for time and action, and approval process for each style
• Issue PO's to factory
• Book/Allocate fabrics and manage inventory for division
• Create memos on shortages and overages and update in RLM
• Work on PLM to enter costing and entering sample receipts
• Resolve and coordinate production issues by communicating with design, Sales, and Tech Design
• Track, receive and distribute yarn/fabric quality submits, lab dip submits fit samples and production samples with critical approval due dates to appropriate departments
• Monitor weekly WIP reports from factories /vendors
• Update shipment tracking reports
• Review and approve shipment extensions.
• Set up costing shell and targets for review with Director/Sr. Manager of Production.
• Approve vessel bookings with Import department
• Review Air Freight with Director of Production and Sales before initiating Air Freight Approval Forms

• Understand Product and have good taste level of design
• RLM and PLM knowledge
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, analytical and organizational
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to multi task and prioritize
• Working knowledge of the production process from development through finished goods at warehouse
• MS Excel and Outlook proficiency required
• Salary Range: $85K - $95K
  * Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
