Machine Operator - 1st shift

Location: New Paltz

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in the printing and packaging industry, is seeking a Machine Operator - 1st shift to join their team. As a Machine Operator - 1st shift, you will be part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $19.00 - $23 per hour

** Shift:
** Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Assist in setting up and operating high-speed manufacturing equipment

+ Load raw materials into machines and monitor production

+ Palletize finished products for delivery

+ Follow operator instructions to adjust machine parts for optimal performance

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment by cleaning equipment and work areas

** What's Needed?*
* + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience

+ Ability to perform basic math and measure to the 16th of an inch

+ Good mechanical skills and willingness to learn on the job

+ Reliable transportation to the work site

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed and work on multiple pieces of equipment
