Job Overview
As a Mechanical Assembler, you play a vital role in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and precision. Your expertise and dedication are essential in assembling our engineered‑to‑order core compressors according to detailed specifications and schedules. You will report to the Core Manufacturing Supervisor.
Responsibilities- Operate common hand tools, pneumatic tools, electrical hand tools, crane and rigging, and fork trucks to manufacture products according to production specifications and work instructions, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards.
- Perform mechanical assembly of components.
- Install and connect electrical boxes.
- Assemble instrument tubing and instrument wiring.
- Conduct hydrostatic testing to ensure system integrity.
- Assist with IGV (Inlet Guide Vane) assembly and set up.
- Participate in cross‑training across multiple manufacturing functions to enhance team flexibility and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in the electrical or mechanical field or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Strong aptitude for mechanical tasks.
