Position: Assembler (Direct Hire) - 1st Shift - $25.69
Location: Akron

Our client, a leader in manufacturing and metal fabrication, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assembler to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly and testing of complex machinery. The ideal candidate will demonstrate precision, teamwork, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Pay Range:**  $25.69 with increases at 6 months & 1 year

** Shift:
** 7am-330pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Plan and perform a variety of operations involving assembly, testing, and finalizing metal fabricating machines, equipment, and accessories.

+ Work from drawings, schematics, process sheets, orders, and specifications to plan operational sequences and perform precise assembly operations.

+ Build machines and sub-assemblies on the erecting floor, bench, or fixture, ensuring high accuracy in layout, fitting, adjusting, and testing.

+ Assemble components, parts, and systems to machine frames, mount and align driving units, and attach heads, drive shafts, and flywheels.

+ Diagnose issues, make adjustments, and conduct operational testing to ensure machines meet strict specifications and quality standards.

** What's Needed?*
* + Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications accurately.

+ Proficiency with hand and power tools for fitting bearings, bushings, shafts, and other components.

+

Experience with electrical wiring, harnessing, and connecting electrical controls.

+ Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including assembly and testing.

+ Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and commitment to safety and quality standards.
