2nd shift Press Operator Level 2

Location: Medina

Position

Purpose:

Responsible for performing Stamping Press operations.

Hourly or Salary Range: $19.15 - $22.25

Essential Functions:

* Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety Standards in the workplace

* All essential functions as required for Press Operator Level 1

* Run Table Stamping Press, Web Stamping Press, and Bracket Dies, Rovetta 1

* Adjust presses when necessary

* Use height gauges, micrometers, calipers, pin gauges

* Rework

* Fills out tags

* Fills out steel log sheet and Reads blueprints

* Always keeps work area clean

* Works in a safe manner always

* Other job duties may be assigned by supervisor

Education and Training:

* High School Diploma

Minimum Qualifications:

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to read and understand blueprints

* Must be able to use measuring equipment

* Must be able to work independently

* Ability to work well with others

Physical Demands:

* Must be able to lift 25lbs

* Must be able stand continuously for 8 - 12 hours

* Must be able to bend, twist and lift repetitively

* Demonstrates dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations

* Ability to work in tight places

* Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

Environmental Conditions:

* Ear and Eye protection always required in all production areas

* Exposure to noisy work environment

* Exposure to hot and humid conditions

* Exposure to coolants, oils, grease and water

* Steel toe boots with metatarsal guards are always required
