Position OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Forklift Operator/Material Handler to join a team in Selkirk, NY. This role involves supporting daily warehouse operations, including forklift operation, packaging, handling materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Forklift operation
- Assemble large cardboard boxes for product storage and shipment
- Assist with placing loaded sacks into boxes
- Stack and organize bags safely and efficiently
- Operate a stretch wrap machine
- Perform repackaging tasks as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area through general housekeeping duties
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Assist with lining containers for shipping
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite
- Forklift experience is required
- Must be able to work the assigned shift (2 PM - 10 PM, Monday-Friday)
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) will be provided
- Safety shoes are required at all times
