Bench Jeweler – New York City Workshop. Responsible for after‑sales alterations, adjustments, repairs, and manufacturing of repetitive high‑jewelry pieces. The role reports directly to the Senior Manager, Workshop.

• Complete after‑sales service repairs, ensuring component functionality and restoration.
• Perform after‑sales alterations and adjustments, including ring sizing, chain sizing, and laser engravings.
• Fabricate repetitive high‑jewelry pieces using handmade and semi‑handmade techniques with high accuracy in cast cleaning and assembly.
• Perform soldering using traditional torch and laser welding techniques.
• Apply knowledge of complex manufacturing and mechanisms in 18k gold and platinum work.
• Manage precious‑metal inventory and workshop time‑management system.
• Meet workshop productivity, quality and delivery KPIs.
• Maintain assigned workbench equipment and support shared area maintenance.
• Ensure daily compliance with workshop health & safety guidelines.

• Minimum 5‑7 years of experience in all phases of jewelry repair and manufacturing.
• Expertise in laser welding, traditional torch soldering, and microscope use.
• Familiarity with fabrication, assembly, and basic computer skills (MSSuite).
• Strong time‑management and ability to respond swiftly to changing workshop priorities.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills; a team player.
• Capability to self‑evaluate work in compliance with workshop protocols.
• Experience with laser engraving is a distinct advantage.
• Fluency in French is considered a plus.
• Valid work authorization for employment in the USA.

Salary range: $48/hr–$57/hr, bonus eligible, reflecting technical capability and alignment with VCA Workshop standards.
