CNC Machinist, 1st Class
We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our Target Rock team! As our CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the operation of CNC machine tools within a manufacturing department. You will perform these activities in compliance with company procedures and quality requirements. Additionally, you will check your own production parts to maintain manufacturing processes and make offset adjustments as required while working with supervision.

- Set up and operate CNC equipment within a manufacturing department, including tool offsets and compensations.
- Proof CNC code as provided by CNC programmers.
- Work in conjunction with CNC programmers to optimize processes.
- Maintain quality and productivity standards.
- Read blueprints.
- Use inspection equipment to inspect own work.
- Calculate and adjust feeds and speeds for material cutting.
- Sharpen cutting and grind form tools as required within the department.
- Ensure accuracy of CNC program documentation upon completion.
- Perform additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- General good housekeeping practices within work area.
- Review work center for maintenance compliance.
- Maintain correct time reporting and accurate entries on manufacturing documentation.
- Proficiency in shop math and trigonometry.
- Possess the mental capacity to comprehend daily information and make independent decisions.
- High school graduate or equivalent, with shop mathematics and trigonometry skills.
- Five (5) years of manufacturing or related experience.
