Position: Metrology Technician I

Metrology Technician I - Full-Time;
On-site, Whitesboro, New York

Responsibilities

Calibrate and maintain assigned laboratory equipment in laboratories.
Update the calibration schedule and equipment lists as work is performed.
Monitor equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators, pipettes, balances, water system, thermometers, weights, ovens, temperature and humidity monitors, REES Environmental system).
Act as an escort for the approved vendor performing required external calibration.
Review calibration notebooks per applicable SOPs/procedures.

Qualifications

Associate degree in science preferred; or high school diploma with a minimum of 1 year relevant laboratory experience.
Strong attention to detail.
