Maintenance Technician / Mechanic

Performs the maintenance repair, overhaul and setup of all the plant equipment.
Responsibilities- Examine and diagnose plant equipment to correct operating difficulties including filling and packaging machines, lyophilization and support equipment, stoppering and closure machinery, labeling, packaging and finishing equipment, conveying, transferring and materials handling equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to include lubrication, cleaning, servicing, inspecting, and testing of equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures.
- Disassemble, clean, lubricate, repair, and reassemble equipment in need of overhaul or as part of a preventive maintenance program.
- Replace or repair frozen or worn bearings, broken or worn parts, leaking supply lines and/or systems, gears, shafts, drive sprockets, chains, valves, belts, electrical or mechanical systems, hydraulic drives, and/or control systems.
- Assist in validation of new equipment and re‑validation of existing equipment as needed.
- Record, file, maintain and make readily available all records, logs, parts’ lists, suppliers’ lists, work records (both performed and to be performed), stock records, manuals and other required maintenance records and files relating to all plant operating equipment.

The hourly wage range Werfen reasonably expects to pay for the position is $35 to $45. Compensation is reasonably based upon multiple factors including education, relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, and specific needs of the business.
