• Perform basic visual and/or physical in‑process testing to ensure high quality standards are met.
• Rotate among stations within a work center/department and be assigned to more complex tasks as needed for cross‑training and coverage.
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and process sheets to determine set‑up procedures, equipment and materials needed, assembly process, safety precautions, cycle time, and related requirements.
• Use basic chemicals and simple machinery to prepare component parts for further assembly.
• Diagnose faulty operations, product imperfections, and equipment malfunctions to work with technical and supervisory personnel to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts of completed work and monitor work to ensure schedule, quality, and quantity requirements are met.
• Package component parts or assemblies for shipment, ensuring protection from potential shipment damage and that all vital parts and instructions are present.

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• At least one year of successful experience in assembly or a related functional area (preferred).
• Good mechanical dexterity, eyesight, reading, writing, and basic math skills with a high degree of accuracy in repetitive tasks.
• Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, including increased automation and changes in production methods or sequences.
• Strong teamwork skills and active participation in team problem‑solving activities.
• Availability to work overtime as needed.

Working hours:

Monday through Friday 6:45am to 3:00pm
Must have near‑distance visual acuity of 20/25 and color differentiation ability.
Must be able to lift 40lbs and work in various positions: standing, sitting, and repetitive jobs/assemblies.

Pay rate: $21.00 per hour. Baxter is committed to equitable pay and transparency.
