• Analyze new and existing production orders, assign production jobs to workstations, and coordinate process operations
• Plan schedules, considering factors of inventory, capacity, labor, waste, and quality
• Assign start date/time and end date/time for production jobs and process operations
• Work with the Production Supervisor or Operations Manager to expedite and adjust work schedules
• Place and release orders for Outside Processing as needed using the ERP system - SAP preferred
• Collaborate with procurement to identify and maintain optimal order quantities, safety stock levels, inventory control, and cycle counts
• Report on procurement obstacles and proposed solutions
• Expedite delivery of open orders, as dictated by customer demand
• Cycle count administration/analysis
• Partner with production leadership to optimize production performance

• Associate degree preferred
• Three (3) or more years with materials planning or production scheduling experience
• Proficiency with manufacturing scheduling systems; MRP/ERP systems - SAP preferred
• Willingness to work with constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm and a sense of urgency
• Strong communication (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and ability to manage/prioritize multiple projects in an efficient manner
