Production Worker – 2nd Shift

Chromalloy New York, a leader in the repair and coating of gas turbine components for the aerospace industry and heavy industrial turbines, is currently seeking Production Workers for the 2nd shift.

As a Production Worker, you will need to be able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment, follow standardized work procedures, and adhere to safe work practices.

This is an hourly position with Local 475. Rate of pay is $21.56/hr with a 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift.

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processing of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
• Cross‑train on operations within multiple areas.
• Maintain regular attendance, as it is an essential job function.
• Perform duties while utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions from the Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all safety procedures and alerts.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).

• Regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.

While performing these duties, the employee is exposed to a typical manufacturing environment that may include moderate cold and heat, loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
