OEM Production Worker 3rd shift

Chromalloy New York—a leader in the repair and coating of gas turbine components for the aerospace industry and heavy industrial turbines—is currently seeking Production Workers for the 3rd shift (Sunday through Thursday 11:00 pm to 7:00 am).

MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST SHIFT MON‑FRI 7AM‑3PM.

As a Production Worker, you will work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices.

This is an hourly position with Local 475. Rate of pay is $21.56/hr with a 15% premium for 3rd shift.

• Use hand, power, and machine tools to facilitate the preparation, cleaning, and processes of molds, equipment, parts, assemblies, or machinery.
• Cross‑train on operations within multiple areas.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Perform job duties utilizing the required and appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Full participation in safety training and the ability to understand and follow directions identified in Job Safety Analysis (JSA), PPE Assessments, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS), and all Safety Procedures and Alerts.

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Mechanical background preferred.
• Ability to use hand tools and gauges (previous experience preferred).

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach with hands and arms.

Typical manufacturing environment. The employee may also occasionally be exposed to moderate cold and moderate heat. Exposure to the production facility includes loud noise, fumes, and moving equipment.
