Description

The Production Planner is responsible for managing production schedules, ERP execution, and inventory flow in a fast-paced processing environment. This role ensures daily production plans are accurate, achievable, and aligned with business needs.

Working closely with production, warehouse, and supply chain teams, the planner drives execution on the floor, maintains system accuracy, and supports the shift from a reactive to a more structured, forecast-driven operation.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Own all item setup and maintenance in Dynamics 365 F&O
• Build and maintain formulas (BOMs) that reflect actual production yields and processes
• Continuously adjust BOMs based on:
  Yield performance, Trim loss and shrink, Production feedback
• Ensure accuracy across:
  Units of measure, Catch weights, Variable yields
• Regularly audit item master and BOM data to ensure the system matches what is happening on the floor

• Build and own daily and weekly production plans
• Set clear daily targets for:
  Volume, Yield expectations, and Throughput
• Ensure plans are realistic and executable based on labor availability, Equipment capacity, and Space constraints
• The production team executes against your plan — you are accountable for the plan being right

• Ensure total planned volume stays within operational capacity
• Factors in labor availability and crew sizing, Line capacity and bottlenecks, Storage and staging space
• Own visibility into raw material slotting and storage constraints
• Adjust plans proactively to avoid congestion, inefficiency, or missed production
