Overseas Production & Sourcing Coordinator

AFH Industries is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Production Manager to oversee the entire product development and production process from concept through final delivery.

This individual will be responsible for managing production timelines, coordinating with domestic and overseas factories, ensuring quality standards are met, and driving projects forward from development to completion. The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and strong follow-up skills are essential.

• Manage and oversee all production projects from start to finish.
• Serve as the primary point of contact with domestic and overseas factories.
• Track production timelines, milestones, and delivery schedules.
• Follow up on samples, approvals, revisions, and quality control requirements.
• Ensure factories meet deadlines, quality standards, and production specifications.
• Coordinate closely with design, sourcing, logistics, and sales teams.
• Maintain detailed production reports and provide regular project updates.
• Identify and resolve production issues before they impact delivery schedules.
• Negotiate timelines and maintain strong factory relationships.
• Monitor production costs, efficiencies, and inventory requirements.
• Ensure all projects move smoothly from development through manufacturing and final delivery.

• 3+ years of experience in production management, product development, sourcing, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Proven experience working directly with overseas manufacturers and factories.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and production tracking systems.
• Experience in consumer products, consumer electronics, accessories, promotional products, or related industries is preferred.

• Experience managing production and sourcing operations in China and other Asian manufacturing markets.
• Familiarity with factory operations, quality control processes, supplier management, and product development.
• Mandarin language skills are highly desirable due to frequent communication with manufacturing partners in China.
• Existing relationships within the manufacturing and sourcing industry are a plus.
