Client Overview:
Our client is a globally recognized fashion and lifestyle brand seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temp Senior Production Coordinator to support cross-functional production and development initiatives.
Salary/Hourly Rate:$35/hr - $38/hr
Position Overview:The Temp Senior Production Coordinator will coordinate and manage the development and production process for seasonal product categories from concept through final delivery.
Responsibilities of the Temp Senior Production Coordinator:- Interface with cross-functional teams to ensure approval deadlines and seasonal milestones are met.
- Manage and monitor Time & Action calendars, including PLM deadlines, purchase order issuance, and production milestones.
- Procure, review, and assess cost quotes while identifying costing opportunities and escalating challenges as needed.
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors regarding development, production, and delivery updates.
- Review production status reports and resolve outstanding issues in partnership with internal teams and vendors.
- Coordinate labeling approvals and regulatory requirements with compliance teams.
- Manage external partner relationships related to production strategy, factory capacity, and costing initiatives.
- Analyze and communicate costing results while identifying opportunities for improvement.
- 4 - 6 years of production coordination or apparel production experience.
- Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Experience managing production timelines, purchase orders, and vendor communications.
- Proficiency in Bamboo Rose or similar tracking systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and Google Suite skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments and influence cross‑functional partners.
- Experience working with overseas factories and vendors.
- Background in apparel, fashion, or retail production environments.
- Strong understanding of garment costing, allocation strategy, and production planning.
- Experience supporting seasonal development calendars and milestone management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field is required.
