Director of Costing & Production, Wholesale Apparel

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Director of Costing & Production.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Manage relationships with factories, mills, and vendor partners to support quality, delivery, and profitability objectives.
• Partner with Design, Production, Technical Design, Planning, and Sales teams to ensure alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
• Oversee costing analysis and negotiate pricing to support margin objectives.
• Monitor production calendars and vendor performance to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.
• Identify sourcing opportunities and vendor partnerships that support business needs and growth objectives.
• Analyze production performance, costs, and operational metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Resolve production, sourcing, and costing challenges while balancing quality, delivery, and financial objectives.
• Support seasonal planning and product execution through effective cross‑functional collaboration.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external business partners.
• Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative and results‑oriented environment.
• Provide regular reporting and business updates to senior leadership.

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years of apparel production, sourcing, costing, or supply chain experience.
• Strong understanding of costing, production management, sourcing, and vendor negotiations.
• Experience managing factory and vendor relationships.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Design, Production, Technical Design, Planning, and Sales teams.
• Proficiency in ERP and PLM systems.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Salary Range:
Up to $130K
* Actual base salary for this role within the above range will be based upon experience, qualifications and/or assigned unit.
