We’re seeking a motivated and upbeat leader to serve as a Group Leader on our Final Assembly team. The role involves collaborating with Supervisors and Materials Planning to set staffing requirements, prioritize work, ensure customer deliveries, and implement production plans.
What You’ll Be Doing- Commit to a Zero‑Harm workplace and ensure safety policies are followed.
- Timely report all safety incidents.
- Cultivate a collaborative environment while interacting and motivating a team of operators to achieve People/Quality/Delivery/Cost objectives.
- Ensure training and cross‑training on accurate procedures and operations of tools to develop operators and maintain flexibility.
- Use computer to update production targets, scrap transactions, and order material, with knowledge of Excel/Word/SAP.
- Review and sign Device History Records, Training records, and other quality documents.
- Assist your Supervisor with employee appraisals.
- High School Diploma/GED;
Associates Degree preferred. - 2‑4 years’ experience preferred.
- Able and willing to work overtime on short notice.
- Demonstrates good judgment and can balance multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Experience in standing, sitting, and repetitive assembly tasks.
- Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience or other Process Improvement program is desirable.
- Leadership skills will be a key attribute.
The worker is required to have natural or corrected near‑distance visual acuity of 20/25 and the ability to differentiate between colors; be able to lift 70lbs and work in various positions (standing, sitting, repetitive assemblies).
