** Position Overview*
* Adecco is currently hiring for a Waterjet Operator position in Liverpool, NY. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a local manufacturing company. Previous waterjet or machine operation experience is helpful, but not required. The company is willing to train the right person who is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable learning computerized equipment, and able to work independently.

** Responsibilities*
* + Learn to set up and operate computerized waterjet equipment

+ Read job cards, work instructions, and basic specifications

+ Load and unload materials and finished parts

+ Follow instructions to complete production jobs accurately and on schedule

+ Use basic math and measurements to check material size and part accuracy

+ Inspect parts for quality and identify obvious defects or issues

+ Deburr, clean, pack, or handle parts as needed

+ Report machine issues, material concerns, or quality problems to management

+ Accurately track production time, completed work, and scrap

+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

+ Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE

+ Assist with other shop duties as assigned

** Qualifications*
* + No previous waterjet experience required; training will be provided

+ Previous machine operation, manufacturing, or shop experience is a plus

+ Must be reliable, punctual, and able to show up consistently

+ Ability to read, speak, and understand English

+ Basic math skills, including counting, fractions, decimals, and measurements

+ Ability to read a tape measure

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused on tasks

+ Comfortable learning computerized machine operations

+ Able to work independently and problem-solve when needed

+ Ability to follow directions, ask questions, and communicate issues clearly

+ Blueprint reading or experience with measuring tools is a plus, but not required

** Physical Requirements*
* + Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift

+ Ability to load, unload, and handle materials as needed

+ Ability to work safely in a manufacturing/shop environment

** Interview Process*
* Qualified candidates will interview with the client before starting.

** Pay Details:**  $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
