** Harvest Seasonal Winery Worker*
* ** Job Summary*
* We are seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join our team for the upcoming Harvest Season. Under direct supervision, Harvest Seasonal Workers participate in all phases of the winemaking process while supporting the care, maintenance, and sanitation of winery equipment and facilities. This role is critical to ensuring quality, food safety, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards are maintained throughout harvest operations.

This is a temporary seasonal position requiring flexibility to work various shifts, extended hours, weekends, and overtime during the harvest season.

** Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* + Perform all aspects of cellar operations, including wine movements, transfers, tank preparation, and sanitation.

+ Operate forklifts and other winery equipment safely and efficiently.

+ Clean, sanitize, and maintain cellar, crush, and production areas.

+ Operate harvest and cellar equipment including tank systems, dejuicers, decanters, and related machinery.

+ Complete sampling procedures and perform Brix measurements.

+ Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of cellar equipment and facilities.

+ Rotate between cellar and crush operations as needed to support harvest activities.

+ Follow all safety policies, GMP requirements, quality standards, and work instructions.

+ Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality throughout the harvest season.

+ Support environmental, quality, and safety compliance initiatives.

** Minimum Qualifications*
* + Must be at least 18 years of age.

+ Ability to perform physically demanding work in a winery production environment.

+ Willingness and availability to work rotating schedules, including:

+ Day Shift

+ Swing Shift

+ Graveyard Shift

+ 5x8 and 4x10 schedules

+ Ability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and extended hours during harvest.

+ Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.

+ Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

+ Ability to lift, carry, roll, and move up to 50 pounds.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + High School Diploma or equivalent.

+ Previous winery harvest experience in Cellar, Crush, Bottling, or Winery Sanitation operations.

+ At least one year of experience in food production, food safety, or sanitation environments.

+ Basic computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office applications.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

+ Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

+ Experience managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.

+ Positive attitude with flexibility and willingness to learn.

** Physical Requirements*
* + Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and balancing.

+ Frequent use of hands, arms, and manual dexterity.

+ Ability to push, pull, twist, turn, and reach throughout the workday.

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

+ Vision abilities including color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

** Work Environment*
* + Work is performed in both indoor and outdoor winery environments.

+ Exposure to varying weather conditions.

+ Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment and machinery.

+ Exposure to wet and humid environments.

+ Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, cleaning agents, and winery chemicals.

+ Occasional exposure to cold temperatures and elevated work areas.

+ Moderate noise levels are typical.
