As a Manufacturing Senior Specialist, you are leading the Production Engineering team to support daily manufacturing operations and long-term business objectives. You are providing technical leadership to ensure stable, scalable manufacturing processes while driving rapid resolution of production issues. You are partnering closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Advanced Manufacturing teams to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance while developing engineering talent and ownership across the organization.
As a Manufacturing Senior Specialist – Production Engineering, you are being responsible for:
- Leading and developing the Production Engineering team to support manufacturing execution and long-term operational goals.
- Providing rapid technical engineering support to resolve production issues and minimize manufacturing disruptions.
- Owning manufacturing processes, routings, and work instructions to ensure consistency, stability, and scalability.
- Driving manufacturability reviews and supporting engineering changes to ensure efficient and controlled implementation.
- Partnering with Manufacturing Operations to align engineering priorities with production needs.
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), industrialization, and process readiness activities.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with HSE, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Building technical capability and leadership strength through coaching, mentoring, and performance management of engineers.
Fueling your passion
To be successful in this role you are:
- Have a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related discipline) or comparable experience.
- Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering.
- Have demonstrated experience leading and developing technical or engineering teams.
- Have strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, shop-floor operations, and problem-solving tools.
- Have a working understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Have strong collaboration skills with the ability to influence across functions.
- Have a data-driven mindset with focus on execution, results, and accountability.
- Have strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for operations and leadership audiences.
