What You Will Do:
- Perform a variety of hand and machine fusion welding (Mig and Tig) operations to construct powder containers at a higher skill level.
- Perform routine maintenance work on equipment with little to no supervision to optimize uptime.
- Prepare all parts to be fitted together for fabrication, i.e., grinding, polishing, and cleaning
- Fabrication of stainless steel extrusion cans
- Sealing and preparing cans for shipment
- Comply with all company rules and regulations outlined in the employee handbook.
- May be required to carry out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level of this position in support of department objectives and to develop one's skills
- Support the cell's continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
- Basic level computer skills (General use of Microsoft Office)
- Clear understanding of shop mathematics involving decimals and fractions.
- Requires a working knowledge of fusion welding processes and terminology.
- Ability to work alone with little to no supervision
• Ability to problem solve minor fabrication & equipment issues
Qualifications You Must Have:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience.
The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift).
The pay range is $24.00 per hour; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
