Position Overview
Vishay Spectrol is currently seeking an Assembler to perform assembly work requiring bench‑top equipment and microscope assembly processes for the manufacturing of potentiometers on the assembly line assigned. The role involves multiple tasks and daily testing to verify product specifications.
Job LocationThe position is located on‑site in Ontario, California, USA.
Responsibilities- Perform assembly and test of wirewound potentiometers to drawings and specifications.
- Move from process to process as necessary.
- Assist Lead in issuance of material, breakdown of kits, training, or other miscellaneous duties.
- Assist assigned to other duties in other departments or areas as needed.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Lead and Manager.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to work under a microscope.
- Good written and communication skills.
- Capability to perform the basic process operations in the manufacturing of potentiometers in assigned work centers while meeting labor standards.
- Ability to read, interpret, and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in utilizing inspection gauges, tools, and electronic test equipment.
- Demonstrated knowledge, aptitude, and manual coordination.
Pay Rate: $18–$20 per hour depending on experience. Temp. Position.
