A Day in Your Life at MKS
As a Manufacturing Engineer at MKS, you will partner with the Tech Ops Team to develop and support NPI designs, reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
You Will Make an Impact By- Providing day‑to‑day support to assembly operations
- Developing and improving manufacturing processes for RF generators and subassemblies
- Driving root‑cause analysis
- Supporting transfer of new designs to HVM
- Designing fixtures and tooling
- Creating and maintaining work instructions, process flows, BOMs, and SOPs
- Traveling up to 20%
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering - 2+ years of manufacturing engineering experience (school and co‑ops count)
- Develop and use process simulations to model assembly flows, cycle times, and throughput optimization
- Support digital manufacturing initiatives (digital twin, virtual validation)
- Experience in high‑tech manufacturing such as semiconductor or electromechanical assemblies
- Cross‑functional engineering collaboration
- Digital factory or manufacturing simulation
- Process validation (PFMEA)
- Design for Manufacturing experience (DFX)
- Data‑driven problem solving
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Factory, Oracle working knowledge a plus
- Work performed in a production/assembly environment with exposure to mechanical equipment and automation systems
- Office work (desk, computer)
- Hands‑on shop floor support
- Salary Range: $71,025 – $118,375 USD annually
- Bonus: Eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, determined by MKS
