This position works from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Salary

Salary Range: $18.76 to $23.44 hourly.

Responsibilities
  • Receive and deliver incoming materials to appropriate locations.
  • Pick and deliver WIP and component materials to filling area and stock WIP from Paint Making.
  • Accurately count inventory, perform inventory tracking, and utilize computer skills to enter information about materials and product transactions in the ERP system.
  • Prepare and inspect outbound carts of products being transferred to GAC Distribution Center and ensure manifests are complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and inspect all outbound shipments to customers.
  • Operate multiple types of forklifts (counterbalance, sit‑down, stand‑up, cherry‑picker, clamp and reach).
  • Occasional use of the box truck.
  • Attention to detail is an absolute must for this position.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent with additional training in computer applications.
  • 1‑3 years working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift, electric pallet jack, and order picker certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Attend and pass driver safety course.
  • Ability to safely operate company delivery trucks.
  • Ability to work independently, multi‑task and manage priorities.
  • Attention to detail – accuracy is very important.
  • Ability to recognize and avoid slip/trip hazards.
  • Requires a physical assessment, respirator fit and background check.
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent working at heights with safety harness/fall protection equipment.
  • Occasional balancing/working at heights.
  • Operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and delivery trucks.
  • Load and unload materials (5‑gallon pails of paint with varying weights, boxes of packaging material).
  • Continuous standing/walking on concrete surface.
  • Occasional climbing of stairs/ladders and on/off equipment.
  • Constant reaching from below waist to waist and shoulder heights. Occasional overhead lifting.
  • Occasional to frequent bending. May be sustained.
  • Occasional to frequent squatting.
  • Occasional heavy pushing/pulling (70 lbs force). Frequent/ moderate pushing/pulling (50 lbs). Constant light pushing/pulling (10‑25 lbs). Pushing/pulling is frequently from an extended/outward stretched position.
  • Rare lifting transferring of 100 to 110‑lb cylinders.
  • Occasional twisting.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 65 lb. 5‑gallon pails. Constant lifting/transferring of 45‑50 lbs 5‑gallon pails stacked 3‑4 high.
  • Lifting is often combined with outward reaching due to confined space. Lifting may be combined with balancing/outward reaching when working from order picker to stock higher shelves.
  • Frequent carrying of up to 65 lb 5‑gallon pails.
  • Occasional lifting of 66‑lb kegs/65‑lb bags of raw material.
  • Frequent to constant lifting of 50‑100 lb bags of raw material. Lighter weights are handled as well including 3, 5 and 20‑100 lb.
  • All lifting is generally maintained in a range of floor to waist/chest height. No shoulder height or overhead lifting.
  • Constant grasping & hand use.
  • Occasional to frequent daily use of a respirator and able to pass a respirator medical clearance.
  • Constant visual and auditory acuity to insure accuracy and maintain safety and awareness in a warehouse/production environment.
