Lithographic Press Operator

Lockport, NY – 2nd or 3rd shift

• Set up and operate press per SOPs, work instructions, and control riders.
• Actively monitor production efficiency and quality while completing all documentation and reporting accurately.
• Troubleshoot machine problems related to equipment and setup. Perform testing as required and determine corrective actions to achieve passing results.
• Assist in minimizing the scope of remakes by identifying problems in a timely fashion and communicating effectively with downstream operators.
• Perform clean‑up and maintenance tasks in accordance with company SOP.
• Maintain a high rate of productivity and meet expectations for set‑up time and run speeds as established by department leads.

• Preferably 3+ years of lithographic press experience or other technical skills operating machinery.
• Experience with basic quality systems and documentation.
• Ability to understand and achieve performance expectations from supervision and communicate requirements to the crew.
• Physical requirements:
  
  twisting, turning, squeezing, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended standing, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Long periods of concentration; speaking, hearing and vision are essential to performing job functions.
