Lathe Machinist I - 2nd Shift

Onsite – Buffalo, NY

• At least 1 year experience as a general machinist.
• CNC lathe experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow an escalation path as it applied to machining.
• Familiarity using various measuring equipment, including micrometers and dial bore gauges.
• Competency in reading and interpreting blueprints and written work instructions.
• Requires access to U.S. export‑controlled information.

• Perform set‑ups and run parts on a CNC lathe with milling capabilities to close tolerances, fine finishes, and complex geometry.
• Inspect all work performed, set up or adjust gaging equipment, detect unusual conditions, deviant parts, and recognize errors in blueprints and operation sheets when needed.
• Interpret complex drawings, including GD&T blueprints, sketches and operation sheets.

Buffalo, NY – $22.00–$27.00 hourly. The salary range represents the low and high end of Moog’s salary range for this position in the given location. Actual salaries vary based on location, experience and performance. The range is one component of total compensation.
