The Latham MR Magnets facility is a manufacturing and development site for magnetic resonance imaging magnets and other superconducting products used in Philips MRI and other customers.

• Perform precise high-quality TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Operate and oversee an automated welding cell, including setting up equipment, monitoring performance, adjusting processes, and maintaining routine maintenance.
• Cut, bend, drill, tap, and perform similar operations to fabricate intricate assemblies used in cryogenic applications.
• Read and interpret drawings and supporting documents.
• Use precision instruments as required.

• 1+ year of welding experience, including mechanical assembly tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to create high-quality TIG and MIG welds, and to perform vacuum-tightly TIG welds on aluminum.
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks.
• Ability to read, write, and follow documentation and sign off procedures.

On-site role covering 3rd shift hours (11:20 pm‑7:30 am) at the Latham, NY facility. Must reside within commuting distance to Latham, NY.

Pay range in NY: $18.10–$28.96 per hour plus overtime and 3rd-shift differential. Eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, 401(k) with up to 7% match, HSA with company contribution, stock purchase plan, education reimbursement, and additional incentives such as annual bonus and long-term incentives.
