Eligibility:

• Use a variety of hand tools to remove burrs or sharp edges.
• Perform machine setup and runs on laser marking machines.
• Assemble components.
• Read, interpret, and comprehend process prints, engineering and quality standards, and other informational drawings and work instructions.
• Monitor part‑specific dimensional tolerances while performing the operation and identify non‑conforming part features.
• Maintain accurate documentation and system inputs (shop traveler, labor charging, production tracking software, inspection results, etc.).
• Identify and report process inefficiencies, machine issues, and improvement opportunities.
• Follow work priorities to accomplish production goals.
• Handle contact with coolants, cleaning fluids, oils (petroleum‑based products), and chemical vapors from products during normal manufacturing.
• Obtain and maintain required Inspection Certification(s).
• Additional responsibilities and duties as assigned.
• 2nd shift:
  Monday – Friday, 3:00pm – 11:00pm.

• Precision deburring process to print specifications.
• Setup and operation of laser markers.
• Reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Cross‑functional collaboration through various types of manufacturing and processes.
• Experience with a variety of inspection equipment.

Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent (or in lieu of a diploma, 2 years of relevant experience).
• Basic math skills, including adding and subtracting decimals.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn and use multiple computer applications (including email, internet, and other job‑specific applications).

Prefer:

• Experience with measurement equipment (gauge, caliper, etc.).
• Experience with basic hand tools.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and following blueprints.
