A&T Technician III

Reporting to Process Manager, onsite in Buffalo, NY, on first shift in Elma, NY. The Space and Defense Group seeks an experienced technician to support hydraulic component assembly, testing, and production operations.

• Perform hydraulic assembly, test, and process‑based operations on complex hydraulic components, assemblies, and systems supporting new production, repair, and overhaul activities.
• Use mechanical and electronic measurement equipment, specialized fixtures, tooling, gauging, and torque mechanisms to meet build requirements.
• Work from drawings, work instructions, and parts lists, providing detailed written communication on performance results and situational circumstances.
• Set up and conduct operational tests of finished products on high‑precision test stands using hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic test equipment.
• Diagnose test failures and assess hardware condition to provide recommended rework instructions and configuration changes.
• Perform daily administrative responsibilities to support overall operations.
• On occasion, travel to customer facilities or other Moog locations to service or support hardware; may work off‑shift hours for short periods.

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Demonstrated ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions or training in English.
• Proficient in basic math: simple addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• At least 3 years of related experience in a technical field.
• Experience with hydraulic system assembly and testing is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Access to U.S. export‑controlled information is required.
