CNC Machinist 1st Class

We are looking for a CNC Machinist to join our Target Rock team!

East Farmingdale, NY

$32.08 to $37.78 hourly rate

Salary range is a general guideline; qualifications and experience are considered when extending an offer.

• Ability to set up and operate CNC equipment within a given manufacturing department, including tool offsets and compensations.
• Read CNC code as provided by CNC programmers.
• Work in conjunction with CNC programmers to optimize processes.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Read blueprints.
• Use inspection equipment and inspect own work.
• Calculate and adjust feeds and speeds of material cutting as required.
• Sharpen cutting and grinding tools as required within the department.
• Ensure accuracy of CNC program documentation upon completion.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• High school graduate or equivalent, with shop mathematics and trigonometry skills.
• Five (5) years of manufacturing or related experience.
• Good housekeeping practices within work area.
• Maintain maintenance compliance of work center.
• Accurately report time and record manufacturing documentation.
• Comply with company quality and safety requirements.
• Proficiency in shop math and trigonometry.
