Production Associate Technical Designer

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Associate Technical Designer to support the production and technical design process from development through final production. Working closely with the Production Manager and partnering with a dedicated Development Technical Designer, this role will be responsible for assisting with garment fittings, maintaining technical documentation, communicating with overseas factories, and ensuring product specifications are accurately executed throughout production.

• Partner closely with the Production Manager to support all aspects of production technical design.
• Assist in preparing and executing production fittings, including garment preparation, measuring samples, steaming garments, and documenting fit comments.
• Evaluate garments for fit, construction, and specification accuracy throughout the production process.
• Maintain accurate garment measurements and update technical specifications as needed.
• Create, revise, and manage production tech packs using Excel.
• Communicate directly with domestic and overseas factories regarding fit comments, garment specifications, construction details, and production requirements.
• Track sample status and ensure timely follow-up on fit corrections and factory requests.
• Collaborate with the Development Technical Designer to ensure consistency between development and production standards.
• Support quality control efforts by reviewing production samples against approved specifications.
• Organize and maintain technical records, measurement charts, fit notes, and approval documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Technical Design, Apparel Production, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical design, production technical design, or apparel production.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, pattern making, and apparel manufacturing processes.
• Experience participating in and supporting garment fittings.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and management of technical packages.
• Experience communicating directly with factories and vendors.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Salary $60,000-$75,000
