CNC Setter Operator

We're partnering with a well-established manufacturer in the plastic injection molding industry that is looking to add a skilled CNC Programmer to its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that continues to invest in its people, technology, and manufacturing capabilities. You'll be responsible for programming CNC machinery to produce high-precision molds, tooling, and components that support injection molding operations.

• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for milling and machining operations.
• Program 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC machines using CAM software.
• Manufacture, repair, and maintain precision molds, tooling, and fixtures.
• Work alongside Toolmakers, Engineers, and Production teams to improve machining processes and increase efficiency.
• Select tooling, cutting parameters, and machining strategies to maximize quality and productivity.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T.
• Produce high-quality components while maintaining tight tolerances.

• Previous experience as a CNC Programmer within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience machining precision tooling, molds, or similar components.
• Proficiency with CAM software such as Mastercam, Power Mill, Fusion 360, or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of G-code and CNC machining principles.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience with in plastic injection molding, mold making, or tool & die is highly desirable.
• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.

• $27–$32 per hour, depending on experience.
