ScheduleAvailable schedules:
- Monday – Thursday from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus optional overtime on Friday and Saturday - or Monday – Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, plus optional overtime on Friday and Saturday
The Machine Operator will set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment and machine tools in an assigned area to process materials into parts for the assembly of custom vehicles, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
Essential Functions- Work from shop orders, specifications, prints and instructions.
- Receive and process raw materials or in-process parts through any range of operations to suit product specifications.
- Set up, change over and operate the complete range of equipment and machine tools.
- Position processed material on designated cart system and move to succeeding operations as required to facilitate production flow.
- Perform visual and dimensional check of work to verify parts are to specification.
- Blueprint reading; understand basic math including decimal, fraction and angle dimensions.
- Perform or assist with any operations, as required or directed, to maintain workflow or respond to production requirements.

- Operate basic fabrication equipment (mills, brake press, saw); use measuring equipment to hold tolerances; read blueprint information for layouts and machine tasks.
- Physical tasks include bending, twisting, lifting, pulling and pushing; climbing ladders, stairs, scaffolding; standing for extended periods; walking long distances.
- Visual acuity to operate machines and perform mechanical tasks; awareness of hazards such as moving parts, electrical current, and high places.
- Must be physically capable of participating in company stretches at 7:00 AM and 11:15 AM daily.
- Lift/Push/Pull up to 40 pounds frequently; up to 20 pounds constantly; various manual handling demands.
